The Department of Computer Engineering was established in 2011 with an intake of 60 students. The department has good infrastructure with well-established laboratories.
The department has experienced and dedicated faculty who give personal attention to each individual student. It emphasizes an effective teaching-learning process, including project-based learning using modern tools and technologies, while implementing an updated curriculum.
Computer department faculty are working hard to improve the quality of education and students' overall performance in this era of rapidly changing technology. The department encourages students to participate in various State and National level competitions, project exhibitions, hackathons, sports events, and extra-curricular activities. Students have won awards in various competitions, including significant achievements in Smart India Hackathon.
Many pass-out students are working at various positions in industries, government sectors, and the education sector in India and abroad.
